Marriage Seminar UPDATE: Johnston Unit

We just wanted to let everyone know what a wonderful time we had at the most recent Marriage Seminar in Winnsboro, TX at the Johnston Unit.

Everything went incredibly well, and we were blessed by the outcome.

Everyone at His House Ministries were a huge help. The church helped us by providing meeting space, food, a very helpful staff, and lots of encouragement.

This seminar was very helpful to our staff as well as volunteers and we are still hearing how great it was for each couple. We have enjoyed every single Marriage Seminar weekend, but it seems like we had an even more special time with this group.

It is great to have a time where so many strangers can quickly become friends over the period of less than 48 hours. There is an openness and transparency that could only be God given. There were relationships mended, lives changed, and hearts that were encouraged. This weekend has meant so much to so many and we are praying that we have only seen and heard the beginning. We are praying for the lives represented in this meeting to continue to be touched and will continue to prosper over the coming weeks and months.

From the Small Groups, to the Testimonies of Travis, Bobby, and Javier, to the cooperation of the Prison, there were so many clear examples of how God uses such different people to complete His work.

We will continue to report on our websites about all the new friendships and relationships that we have built from this weekend. We know that we met some pretty special people and cant wait to see what God will do next.
