Freedom From Rebellion
Johnny Moffitt spoke about the Freedom from Rebellion at Heritage Church Dallas this Morning. He gave a powerful testimony and spoke on how he found his own Freedom From Rebellion. Johnny's message resonates with a comedic sincerity of his life before and after being saved. His story allows us to see that everyone rebels against something or someone in their lives.
This message reminds us all that it is WHO we rebel against, that makes the differernce. When we rebel against tyranny or injustice God can use that rebellion to keep us safe and out of harms way. When we rebel against God, we leave ourselves open to attack from all sources.

Celebration Banquet: Monty Lewis
The Monty Lewis story is a dynamic testimony of the miraculous power of Jesus Christ! While lying naked, broken and hopeless in a solitary confinement cell in London, Ontario, Monty prayed a prayer of desperation. To his absolute amazement, God answered that prayer and touched him with His supernatural power! After spending years in and out of jails, detention centers, prisons and mental institutions, his life of crime and drug abuse was totally transformed. And as you hear his message of victory and hope, God will powerfully touch you as well!
Today as a free man, Monty serves as the Chaplain Advisor/Coordinator for the Department of Public Safety for the Province of NB. He is the Director Founder of Bridges of Canada Inc, a non-profit organization that works with those involved in the criminal justice system, as well as the founder of Bar None Christian Camp for inmate families, ex-offenders and children from less fortunate families.
On January 16, 2003 at the Old Government House in Fredericton, NB, Rev. Monty Lewis received the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal in honor of his participation in Public Safety in having turned his life around for the better.
His life story has been published in a book entitled "The Caper" and has been distributed internationally. He has authored the training manual, "Can the Chaplain Do It Alone? ".
We are pleased to announce that Monty Lewis and His wife will be at our Celebration Banquet on September 18, 2009.
Monty will share his powerful story with us and encourage us for the work ahead.
Please plan on joining us Friday, September 18th, 2009 here in Dallas.
I know you will be blessed.

Tony’s life has come full circle. His marriage was restored and his wife, MaryAnn, serves with him in ministry. His life has never been the same since.
Today, Tony is President of the Solid Rock Ministry, an ordained minister and musician leading a powerful work throughout the world.
We are proud to announce that Mr. Loeffler will be performing live from our Celebration Banquet, Friday, September 18, 2009. He will be performing songs from his hit albums and will minister to you with his
"Gutsy blues --- articulate folk --- powerful R’n’B".

Marriage Seminar UPDATE: Johnston Unit
We just wanted to let everyone know what a wonderful time we had at the most recent Marriage Seminar in Winnsboro, TX at the Johnston Unit.
Everything went incredibly well, and we were blessed by the outcome.
Everyone at His House Ministries were a huge help. The church helped us by providing meeting space, food, a very helpful staff, and lots of encouragement.
This seminar was very helpful to our staff as well as volunteers and we are still hearing how great it was for each couple. We have enjoyed every single Marriage Seminar weekend, but it seems like we had an even more special time with this group.
Some of the comments so far:
"...Was a true experience, couldn't have been better."
"Learned to love and be more patient."
" This Weekend was perfect"
From the Small Groups, to the Testimonies of Travis, Bobby, and Javier, to the cooperation of the Prison, there were so many clear examples of how God uses such different people to complete His work.
We will continue to report on our websites about all the new friendships and relationships that we have built from this weekend. We know that we met some pretty special people and cant wait to see what God will do next.
