Chinese food in Honduras

It seems once again that all worlds collide in Honduras. We've spent the last few days touring north central Honduras guided by our fearless driver and host Jorge Amador. It's been a treat to enter the homes of the people, see their smiling faces and enjoy their hospitality. We started Zoila's house. She has one leg and five children. She also had the warmest smile and most incredible faith. From their we visited a church needing walls. It's been under construction for five years. When complete it will be about 2000 square feet and serve as a church home or it's 50 or so members. When we asked the pastor (also named Jorge) what was his greatest need, he stated he need funds to help the poor in his area. We finished yesterday at Casa de Cielo, an orphanage founded and run by Papa (Leonard) and Mama Jones. Today they house 24 children ages 6 months to 6 years. They have a teen aged girl coming in a few days. They are already at capacity with more children on the way. They request your prayers. You can learn more at www.casaderoc.org. Today we'll make one more stop in Trujillo and finish our day in Cusuna. I can't wait to see Nahun and EdeƱa again. Now we're have Chinese food for lunch. Great food. Great friends. Man, this is the life. Stay tuned for more at travismoffitt.com and wviw.com. Thank you for your prayers and support. Travis
